Replacing old heating

Energy Saver Incentives may be available if you:

  • replace an old electric central heating system or ducted reverse-cycle heating with a high-efficiency ducted reverse-cycle heating system
  • replace electric central heating with high-efficiency gas ducted heating
  • replace old gas ducted heating with high-efficiency gas ducted heating
  • replace your old gas ductwork with new ductwork.

Installing new heating

You could be approved for an Energy Saver Incentive if you:

  • install a high-efficiency gas/LPG space heater
  • install high-efficiency reverse-cycle heating
  • install a high-efficiency ducted gas heater with a 5-star rating.

Replacing old cooling

Replacing old inefficient cooling systems with new systems will lower your costs.

Energy Saver Incentives may be available if you:

  • replace your existing fixed room refrigerated or ducted refrigerated air conditioner with a ducted evaporative cooler
  • replace an inefficient split system with a high efficiency one.
